Project 365.31 – Halloween

My neighbour went all out this year, cobwebs in the hedges, spooky police style tape across the driveway, lights, music, and this guy…

Project 365.60 – Shakespeare

The New Alexandra Theatre was where I found myself this evening, and in the bar area on the wall are various shakespearean characters, leering at you as you walk up the stairs.

Project 365.59 – Reception

The glow of the sun on the afternoon after the clocks go back, today, lit up the clouds as if they were gold itself. Casting silhouettes of different and yet familiar forms – houses, trees, telephone poles, aerials.

Project 365.58 – Equine

I drove to a small country park today, and my partner and I took a wander around the fields full of horses. They were fenced off, and entirely uninterested in us, but at least we’re reasonably photogenic!

Project 365.57 – Stacks

Birmingham library has the most wonderful ringredients of book shelves in it, and you slowly rise up through it on a conveyor.

Project 365.56 – Tunnel

Another building one, the one is part of the Birmingham University Sports centre.

I have always been a fan of repeated patterns in structures, and I thought it loozed really cool from this particular angle.

Project 365.55 – Hospital

I always found the building impressive, looming, white, modern. And where it’s set, surrounded by a thin ring of trees makes it stand out all the more.

Project 365.53 – Spectrum

There used to be an art shop of this name in my city. It was hidden off in an underground walkway, home to eclectic shops, often visited by enthusiasts and nought much else.

It moved eventually to a street, down by the Law Courts, a great red building, antique in tradition and design, but eventually the shop shut down, leaving an absence of colour.

Project 365.52 – Board Games

It’s a passion of mine, and probably will be for a long time, and due to us playing one for the better part of the day, I have nothing much more interesting to photograph!

Project 365.51 – Pot pourri

The twisted form of it, when taken from its bowl and left on its own on bare wood. I actually really like how it turned out, and I should definitely work more with spotlights.
