Another foodie one today, but it’s also a post which focuses on colour. This basil looked so vibrant and the way the droplets of water caught the light made it an unusually colourful subject.
It is unfortunate that the land pictured will soon be torn up. The barn will be demolished and soulless, yet necessary housing will be built there. It snowed today, which is not something which happens to this extent every year, in this part of the country. I made sure I went to get a picture of this area before it’s too late to.
Well as suspected, lack of Internet impeded my posting, so I will do a double for Christmas eve! The first is Christchurch Priory, the largest church in my Grandparents’ home town, and the second is the hand knitted nativity in their lounge!

I need to stop uploading these so late!! Although I might be in a signal blackspot for the next few days, so we shall see how that goes….
This is from a walk back to my lartner’s house. The hills in the background pleasingly blurred from low cloud.
At my partner’s home, on the wall is an old barometer. I don’t know all that much about it, other than its basic function. Tap the side and the needle moves towards what the weather is going to be in the near future.
