Project 365.153 – China

The dresser in my dining room has all sorts of random, unusual ornaments on it, and mostly from Japan, which was my parents’ honeymoon destination many years ago. I have always liked the patterns on these cups, not ever used but I like them all the same.

Project 365.152 – Paint the Sky the Shades of the Morning

The sky has spent such a long time being dull, white and grey and I have been utterly tired of it. It’s so nice to see a change.

Project 365.151 – Golden Stone

The church in evening sunlight is lit up, and the dull greys and browns become bright, shocking almost.

Project 365.150 – Wood Pigeon

A park, close to me is decorated with various unusual benches with animals carved into and out of the wood which makes them. My partner and I chatted for hours, just wandering around that park

Project 365.149 – Ghibli

This Saturday was a quiet one by anyone’s standards. We didn’t really know what to do with ourselves so we pulled a couple of DVDs out of this little collection… Specifically The Cat Returns and Whisper of the Heart.

Project 365.147 – Tokens

Part of the beauty of tabletop games these days is the quality of the components. Sure, you used to always just get little bits of card, or plastic counters if you were lucky. Now, tokens are crafted out of wood, painted, and look great all bundled together.

Project 365.146 – Clock

The route to the city from my workplace is graced by the presence of an often overlooked clock tower. It is driven past by hundreds, if not thousands of cars every day. Four faces, but can a clock really tell time if no one uses it?

Project 365.145 – Lighter Evenings

I have been waiting for this for ages now, the chance to take photos outside, after work! I decided on a subject I have already captured. Perhaps I will do some season based shots on this tree!

Project 365.144 – Profile

I would have loved to have been able to take this shot with an open fire as the background, but the light wasn’t playing ball with my camera. However, I feel that the shot as it is works very nicely.
