There is a pile of sand creatures, mostly collected by my partner, in our bedroom. Today I moved them to their new home on the shelf of our Billy CD Rack.
This is the lid on my cast iron casserole dish after 5 hours in the oven, filled with braising lamb neck. It’s been a while since I did a more abstract colour based shot and I thought the patterns were really unique and interesting.
Today we went to breakfast at one of those chain pubs which always seems to inhabit nice old buildings. Hermit Pubs as it were.
Money is everywhere and everything, not matter how much worse that makes everyone’s lives.
I am sure we can all relate to the feeling of knowing where everything is, but also at the same time knowing that where everything is currently, is probably not the most organised layout for all the things we need to store.
It may not look like much, but this little tape measure has a lot of memories for me. I played a lot of tabletop games needing one with my dad when I was a kid. It just tends to sit around now being unused though.
One of the more distinctive local pubs I thought looked particularly nice with the weather as it was!
This is another of those funny things you walk past but never to. I never have any cause really to go down the road on which I found this shot, but I found myself wandering around there and now I wonder why I haven’t until now.
I know it’s strictly not fretwork, rather it’s a locked and chained gate, but it reminded me of decorative fencing, but a rougher take on it.
