My family has always been animal fans. We have dogs, rabbits and a hamster now, but at times in the past we have had a great deal more pets. Indi the rabbit hasn’t featured yet. She’s an inquisitive type and really came up close to have her close up.
Taken on the way to a visit to my partner’s grandparents, from a moving car, hence the blurriness.
The story behind this is simple. At half 10, after a day at work and a lazy evening I didn’t have a photo so I asked my mum for ideas. She said ‘a hairbrush’ so that’s what this is.
Tonight we went to a stage performance of The Kite Runner, it was a good show, not a great one. But what really was great was the music, of which most was from the talented fingers of this man. This picture is from the very start, before the lights went off, while audience members were wandering around taking their seats.
We were back home pretty late tonight after a board game meet up, and as we were walking back into the house, we noticed our car had the most amazing pattern of frost on it.
I would have loved to have been able to take this shot with an open fire as the background, but the light wasn’t playing ball with my camera. However, I feel that the shot as it is works very nicely.
The settings of this piece is quite unexpected, all things considered. The sculpture which I used as subject is actually outside a supermarket, but the way it reflected the traffic I thought looked pretty interesting.
They sit on my partner’s desk, and something about them looked right to me. They represent opposites, black and white in colour but also hard and glassy on one case and soft and malleable on the other.
It’s another light. I like how the look in pictures, what more can I say? The reflections in the glass are really interesting in contrast with the shadows. To extenuate this I went for a black and white look.
This was actually in a KFC.
