My mum’s 60th birthday was… a month ago, but the party was today. We all went out with family and friends to a teppanyaki restaurant in the city centre. And that means fire, showmanship, loud drumming etc.!
This is the lid on my cast iron casserole dish after 5 hours in the oven, filled with braising lamb neck. It’s been a while since I did a more abstract colour based shot and I thought the patterns were really unique and interesting.
Another foodie one! I have been tutoring English as an additional language at work, and one of the Arabic kids has been on at me for weeks to try a favourite Arabian dish. So I did.
A great sort through happened today with these, and a lot of muh older books will wind their way into the dusty store room of the local Oxfam Bookshop
Another foodie one today, but it’s also a post which focuses on colour. This basil looked so vibrant and the way the droplets of water caught the light made it an unusually colourful subject.
