On this day I went to Hanbury Hall and found the only angle from which I could photograph it without any of the scaffolding on the front being visible. (It’s behind the tree).
I left it a bit late today, and was wondering what I could take a picture of. I put my phone down on the landing bannister on top of a scrunched up towel and though actually, that has potential!
Home is a comforting place, especially with these guys staring up at you when you come in!
You know, when you walk past something in your house every day because it’s just ‘there’ you tend not to notice when it’s actually unusual in any other circumstance.
The dresser in my dining room has all sorts of random, unusual ornaments on it, and mostly from Japan, which was my parents’ honeymoon destination many years ago. I have always liked the patterns on these cups, not ever used but I like them all the same.
