It’s the summer holidays. Glorious! The staff at the school had an end of year party, and on the way home from that I took this of the many contrasts the city throws at you in the dark.
When walking the dog in the evening, we usually pass through this little alley. Hanging above it, on a branch is this really nice bird table. The light gave it a nice silhouette effect too.
This, weirdly, is one of my favourite bits of the city centre. I have always like how the lights run along the roof of it and the ambient yellow glow which fills the walls.
Not something I think I have ever seen before, but at the same time something so familiar! This is what the inside of a traffic light wait button looks like.
Okay, it’s not. But it looks like it is with this cool filter!
Buying furniture today in that wondrous Swedish store which does such excellent meatballs. The shop itself is so well designed, they’ve thought about everything, but the warehouse is the interesting bit, because it’s real.
In my local shop, there’s a lightbulb attached to one of the shelves, presumably for display purposes, but it made for an interesting close-up.
I have got to stop posting these up the day after, but I was so sleepy last night!
It was the first day I almost clean forgot about this challenge. I have not been feeling too great and I just wanted to rest, but here it is.
The weather has been bright and very cold these last few days. It was only appropriate to find something which would nicely catch the light and my partner’s lighthouse tea light holder did nicely.
