Project 365.73 – Her

This one is dedicated to my partner. She’s a lover of crafts, and needs to look after something, when she’s not looking after her lummox of a boyfriend. The crochet is her handiwork, and the colours always remind me of her.

Project 365.72 – Reflection

The settings of this piece is quite unexpected, all things considered. The sculpture which I used as subject is actually outside a supermarket, but the way it reflected the traffic I thought looked pretty interesting.

Project 365.91 – Underlit Tree

It’s interesting that something which you pass every day only shows the true reality of what makes it interesting when the darkness allows a part of it more contrast.

Project 365.80 – Tower

The time of year for Christmas shopping has arrived, and after wandering around through several photogenic streets, I settled on the clock tower at the end of corporation st.

Project 365.80 – Late Walk

It wasn’t even that late, but winter is coming and that means darkness and is not the friend of the photographer, and I was in such a hurry in the local suburban quaint village part of the city, stopping for a picture unfortunately slipped my mind. But nevertheless, I am pleased Skye the Shetland sheepdog made an apparence other than that inside the house!

Project 365.77 – Twilight Tree

On my way home tonight, I was rounding the top of my road and saw the bright evening sky silhouette the large tree which stands there.

Project 365.76 – Shell

Winter is a pain for photographs. I work full time so I can’t get out while it’s light, so weekdays until the school holidays are going to be pretty lightless… as such, my house is probably going to have to be a good enough subject! It’s a good thing that there’s so much weird stuff in here.

Project 365.75 – Vapour Trails AND glow.

Okay so I have taken almost this exact picture before, but the time of year changes and so do the colours presented by the morning sky at my bus stop.

Project 365.74 – Black and White Cats

They sit on my partner’s desk, and something about them looked right to me. They represent opposites, black and white in colour but also hard and glassy on one case and soft and malleable on the other.

Project 365.73 – Gift

The flowers currently on the mantlepiece in the lounge were a gift from me to my partner. I am not a great buyer of flowers, and perhaps that corridor of romantic gifts is one I should explore a bit more… she liked them a lot, after all!
