Wandering around North Wales today and I couldn’t decide on just one. The first is Flint Castle, one of the shady dark parts at the bottom of the chapel tower. It’s mostly home to pigeons now.
The second image is a view on the way to Ruthin, taken from the car park of a restaurant. I had to stop because it was such an amazing view.
A bit of a pointless morning wandering around town. Had stuff to get and found exactly none of it. But it gave me the opportunity for a nice view. If a little dilapidated.
Well, it’s time to head back to the mainland. Can’t say I was thrilled to leave because I have hugely enjoyed this holiday. As we were crossing we saw a lot of people heading off on their own holiday. I hope their time is as good as mine was!
I was on the way back from a shop selling all things chilli, when I saw an awesome view from the road. Thought I would turn round when I could and go and take a picture… turned out the place where I turned round was better!
In Sandown today, and came out of a shop to this view of the pier through buildings!
Excuse the pun. We went to Blackgang Chine today – oldest amusement park in the country. It’s situated right on the cliffline, and I mean RIGHT there. Bits of the park are slowly being eroded and sliding down the cliff. Hopefully the maze has a good few years yet!
The view of Digbeth with a rolling cloudy sky. I was in town getting a new bus pass and happened on this view while walking back to the carpark.
Landscapes are my favourite subject, but every weekend has been dreary, disappointing weather so I have not been able to go out on a proper walk in ages.
But finally, Sunday was nice.
For a while at least…
