I know it’s strictly not fretwork, rather it’s a locked and chained gate, but it reminded me of decorative fencing, but a rougher take on it.
The story behind this is simple. At half 10, after a day at work and a lazy evening I didn’t have a photo so I asked my mum for ideas. She said ‘a hairbrush’ so that’s what this is.
I am stuck for something vaguely witty or intelligent to say today, but anyway, I got these for a roll play game which never took place, but at least they look nice!
I walked past this today. The sign nearby was knocked almost entirely over as well, but I can’t think why they’d have buried it underneath the road signs you find nowhere near this sign.
Well it has snowed again. I am getting rather fed up with this now, if I wanted this much snow I would move to Canada. England just can’t deal with it very well. Still, it looks nice and these icicles grew to at least a metre later on in the day.
Tonight we went to a stage performance of The Kite Runner, it was a good show, not a great one. But what really was great was the music, of which most was from the talented fingers of this man. This picture is from the very start, before the lights went off, while audience members were wandering around taking their seats.
You don’t tend to see this on photographs, but I wonder why not? Maybe I should add one digitally?
I mean, there are flowers now, daffodils even. That’s a sign of spring. So why is snow forecast on Sunday??
At the top of John Lewis, looking down. The view, wonderfully symmetrical, is only really obvious if you put yourself in the vague state of reliance that the glass barrier will hold and you won’t go tumbling through.
