Project 365.91 – Another finished

I am a big reader, not so big as some, but bigger than most. Anyway, this year after finishing several books I thought my picture today could feature one. Simon Scarrow’s The Eagle’s Prey. Also in there is my Gladstone’s Library bookmark!

I was rounding off my christmas shopping tonight after work, and my route into the city passes by this little view.

Sometimes after a rough day’s work, the best place is the sofa, in your socks.

Project 365.88 – Decorated

Around my workplace, christmas lights have been switched on. It makes the wait at the bus stop in the cold and dark a little more bearable.

Project 365.87 – Ruin

There’s an old medieval castle ruin near where I live, and I haven’t seen it in years. It’s the sort of place which is so photogenic, but is also fenced off from the public. Probably for good reason in my area.

Project 365.86 – Herbs

Today I did a bit of cooking, not all that much, I was just making potato dumplings for a casserole. So after chopping the rosemary I thought it made an interesting image.

The decorations are being put up, and this restaurant goes in for it every year.

Project 365.73 – Her

This one is dedicated to my partner. She’s a lover of crafts, and needs to look after something, when she’s not looking after her lummox of a boyfriend. The crochet is her handiwork, and the colours always remind me of her.

Project 365.72 – Reflection

The settings of this piece is quite unexpected, all things considered. The sculpture which I used as subject is actually outside a supermarket, but the way it reflected the traffic I thought looked pretty interesting.

Project 365.91 – Underlit Tree

It’s interesting that something which you pass every day only shows the true reality of what makes it interesting when the darkness allows a part of it more contrast.
